Smart refrigeration and photovoltaics: EBÄKO
EBÄKO relies on Coldsense’s expertise at its German locations in Braunschweig and Oldenburg: By using AI to tailor defrosting processes to operational workflows, energy consumption in the frozen-food warehouses was reduced by 17 percent. In addition, Coldsense integrated PV and refrigeration technology into a smart, integrated system that further reduces energy costs.
Smart refrigeration for five university canteens: Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen
Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen relies on Coldsense at five university canteens. Demand-driven AI defrosting and early anomaly detection cut the costs of technical faults by around €34,700. In 2024, the evaluated sites also saved 32,252 kWh of electricity and 13.3 tonnes of CO2.
